Germany’s Dietrich Fast defeated Mike Shariati to win the title of the World Poker Tour Los Angeles Poker Classic for $1,000,800. Shariati was trying to get his second title of the XIV season but earned $656,540 dollars for his second place in the Commerce Casino.

Fast also won a pair of gold Monster 24K headphones, a Hublot King Power Unico watch, and an automatic seat into the WPT Tournament of Champions. When the final table started the clear favorites were Anthony Spinella (6° – $191,250) and Farid Jattin (5° – $238,070) but unfortunately they were the first players eliminated from the tournament.

The 2016 California Swing Series continues on Monday with Day 1A of the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star, then continues on March 12 with WPT Rolling Thunder.
