The professionals will face once again the Artificial Intelligence next week. Players such as Jason Les
, Dong Kim
, Daniel McAuley
and Jimmy Chou
will face Libratus, a new software developed by Thomas Sandhold
and Noam Brown
from Carneige Mellon University.
The professionals defeated Claudico a few months ago and Doug Polk
was an important member of that team. This time, Dr. Sandholm has worked on a new software and wants to test it against the best.
The match will begin on January 11 at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh where they will play 120,000 hands for 20 days. If the four professionals win, they will get $$200,000 dollars but if Libratus wins, Dr. Sandholm will win the glory.
