Fernando Gutierrez advance to Day 2
Day 1B of the Peter’s Poker Tour Main Event had eleven players who made the cut and will join the fifteen players that advanced on Day 1A. Venezuela’s Amer Torbay 
finished as chip leader of the day at Malecon Palace Casino with a 268,000 stack.
Gustavo Paredes and Ruben Suarez are second and third while Amos Ben 
and Jimmy Castaño 
complete the Top 5. Big names such as Frank Narajo and local player Francis Cruz 
couldn’t advance to Day 2.
Fernando Romano 
is theonly Argentinian player to advance while Carlos Mora 
is the only Mexican to do so. On the other hand Antoine Meseguer 
became the second French player to advance in the Dominican Republic.
